Explorer Magazine
Explorer first started life as Cambridge's reference map - initially marketed towards the tourist industry.
September 2002 saw the launch of the first issue of Explorer magazine, which was very well received by local businesses and the local community.
The smaller than A4 full colour glossy, with bright design, artistically-created photography and informative editorial, proved a winning formula and soon became known as the ultimate what's on guide for the Cambridge area, with special sections for eating and drinking, entertainment, shopping, health and beauty, fashion, visual arts, homes, family, leisure and days out.
Today, 25,000 copies are distributed each month to outlets in and around Cambridge. As the magazine grew so did the map, with 80,000 copies now distributed every six months around Cambridge venues and major city centre points.
