Archant offers a Money Purchase Scheme to all new employees after 3 months service with the company. In addition to matching your chosen contribution between 2-7% of salary Archant also pays administration costs and premiums for life assurance and group income disability insurance for all Scheme members.
A new Archant Awards scheme has been announced in 2007 with an emphasis on people, a new format and the chance for more staff to become winners.
The Archant People Awards 2007 will focus on the achievements and excellence of staff from right across the company, giving everyone the chance to enter.
Share Incentive Plan
Archant has been named as having one of the best share plans for its staff.
The company has been short listed for an award for Most Innovative Employee Share Plan at the ICSA Company Secretary Awards.
Factors including how the SIP share scheme operates, how the scheme is communicated to staff and the high proportion of employees taking up the yearly share offer helped shortlist Archant for the prestigious award
Give As You Earn Scheme
Giving to charity direct from your pay is tax free and the causes you care about benefit from your regular support. What's more, Archant currently adds 50% to every gift you make.
Archant also pay the usual small administration fee for all employees who join the Archant GAYE scheme, so that every penny of your gifts goes direct to the charity of your choice.
So if you pledge £10 from your gross salary every month, it will only cost you £7.80 (for basic rate taxpayers) because of the tax you save, but the charity gets £15, thanks to the taxman not taking his share and Archant adding 50%* and also paying the administration charge from the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) who administer the scheme for us.

Many Archant staff put in a great deal of time and effort to raise funds for a wealth of deserving charitable causes.
Archant Gold is the company's way of acknowledging the tremendous efforts of these employees and showing Archant's commitment to both them and the worthy causes they support.
The scheme is designed to enable any money you raise for qualifying charitable causes up to a maximum of £3000 per application to be doubled, by matching your cash pound for pound. You can apply every time you participate in a fundraising activity. There is no minimum amount to qualify for match funding.
Archant offers free private advertising in their employee's local Herts & Cambs publication, and discounts on subscriptions to their lifestyle magazine and wine club.
They have also negotiated a number of staff discounts for their employees with companies ranging from hotels to property solicitors.
Our childcare voucher scheme allows you to be paid in for up to £50 per week in childcare vouchers which can be paid to your childcare provider. These vouchers are exempt from tax and insurance and you can save up to £816 a year.
Westcare Health Scheme
For a modest set weekly premium the Advantage Health Cash Plan gives you money, up to maximum limits, towards the cost of your routine healthcare such as new glasses, dental treatment and physiotherapy amongst many other things. It even helps with some of the out of pocket expenses of staying in hospital or having a baby.
We have appointed a leading advice service company which our employees can contact for advice and help on everyday situations 24 hours a day 365 days a year. These services include advice on health, counseling, home assistance/child assistance, bereavement information and law.
