THE East Herts Herald is sister paper to the successful Welwyn & Hatfield Times.
It is a free paper distributed to areas around the core towns of Hertford, Ware, Cheshunt, Hoddesdon, Waltham Cross and Broxbourne.
The paper's ethos is to concentrate on 'people stories' and avoid the usual drier authority-led articles found in many other local papers.
Editor Terry Mitchinson said: "Our reporters are always on the lookout for original, quirky stories.
"There is also a place in the East Herts Herald for lighter, good-news type pieces.
"We want to highlight all the good things that are going on around our patch."
The Herald also features four pages of sport, plus competitions, lifestyle features and plenty from the world of the theatre and arts.
