The Willow FoundationThe Willow Foundation

The Welwyn and Hatfield Times helped with its foundation and launch. It organises special events for seriously ill young adults and was set up by Bob and Megs Wilson, of Brookmans Park, in memory of their daughter who died of cancer shortly before her 32nd birthday.

It has since gone national but the paper and its editor are still very much involved in its activities.

The WHT has been running a series of articles about the Welwyn Garden City based hospice and its work. They also help with a variety of events including the annual sponsored swim and the newly set up sponsored run at Stanborough.
